Nanshy Masterful Collection Makeup Brush Set
This week I was very excited to receive the most amazing brush collection from cruelty-free PETA approved, Nanshy.
The Master Collection can be recommended to just about everyone. Great for professionals who wish to use cruelty-free and vegan brushes, or for anyone looking to spend a little more (although not that much considering their quality) on good brushes.
It’s also a great gift for a makeup beginner, as it’s pretty much every brush you’ll ever need.
For anyone who uses their fingers for makeup, these brushes would even tempt you!
Why are synthetic brushes better than natural?
More and more people are making the switch to synthetic makeup brushes for a number of reasons:
- they’re more hygienic
- they hardly ever shed fibres
- they don’t lose their shape
Natural fibres for brush bristles have a tendency to split, which allows more chance for bacteria to get stuck in the brush, even if you clean them regularly. Synthetic brushes won’t split like this, meaning they’re generally more hygienic.
The Master Collection has every brush you’d ever need for a full makeup look – from powder to lip brush.
The bristles are very soft but seem to have a great amount of support to apply products well. The stippling brush in particular is fantastic for achieving a very natural yet airbrushed look.
They also look really pretty – which sounds a bit of weak point, but if you’re going to be displaying makeup you use every morning it pays for it to look stylish.
This blush brush is fantastic. It’s big enough for sweeping across the cheek bones in big movements, with such a soft tip it gives a really airbrushed finish.
It’s a makeup bag essential to have a great blush brush (yes, even for the finger users :P)
So many great things to say about these brushes. I love the handles, as they’re quite thick and weighty, which gives me more control. This is just a personal preference, but if you like big rounded handles, these are perfect.
